Rush is an upcoming Bollywood thriller film directed by late Shamin Desai. The film is to feature Emraan Hashmi, Aditya Pancholi, Neha Dhupia and Sagarika Ghatge. The storyline will be based on media and crime. After the death of Shamin Desai, the project is being completed by his wife Priyanka Desai under Percept Picture Company.[2]

Premise
The story follows media, politics, crime and romance at the point of life and death. Sam Grover (Emraan Hashmi) is a struggling news reporter. Even though his talk show is at the pinnacle of success, his personal life turns upside down when he accepts an assignment offered by a dynamic media tycoon. It plunges him into a vortex of violence in a deadly game of cat and mouse. Beneath the veneer of glamour, money, power and the enviable life of media, lays a truth that is at once unbelievable and shocking.Cast

Production
Rush started production in 2010 under the title of 24x7 Raftaar. However, after the death of director Shamin Desai, the film was shelved. In October 2011, it was announced that the film was to be completed by Desai's wife Priyanka and the title was changed to Play. Later on, filming began in Goa, India and the title was changed to Rush during April 2012. The first look poster of the film was unveiled during early July 2012, whilst the theatrical promo will be revealed late August 2012.References
